自动发送邮件，这个功能耗系统资源吗？

开启这功能耗系统资源吗？我发现Apache日志里，非常多这个请求

服务器的postfix里没有队列邮件，这个的send_mail怎么总发呢？
“send_mail&1307250530407407” 后面的数字是邮件的编号吗？
